Who are we and what do we do at Wild Bird Supply? Just as our name implies, we are a complete shop devoted to supplying all the needs of folks interested in feeding, housing, attracting, and learning about wild birds. Part of our philosophy at Fred's General Mercantile is to educate our friends and customers about the natural environment and encourage them to enjoy the beauty surrounding us. Feeding the birds is just another way we can protect and enjoy our environment.

 Watching and feeding wild birds has become one of America's favorite pastimes, stirring the interest of folks from all walks of life and age groups. Feeding the birds is something that can be enjoyed for years to come, and just about anywhere in the world. 

 Our staff can help you get started with your first feeder or, if you are already feeding the birds, we can assist you with additional needs. Selecting the right feeder, poles, and squirrel baffle, along with the right type of seeds that interest particular birds, are all things we will gladly help with.

Bird items make great gifts year round and can start folks of all ages on a new and interesting hobby. In addition to feeders, houses, books, videos, birding hardware and gift items, we have a select group of scientific and educational toys of interest for our young friends.
